William R. Bodart, age 85, of Allouez, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. The son of William E. and Elsie (Rolewitch) Bodart was born in Green Bay. He graduated from West High School in 1949, and in 1953 received a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a commission in the U.S. Army, where he served for two years in Korea (1954-1955). He married Patricia Phillips on February 18, 1956 in Green Bay. William was employed with the Morley-Murphy Co. Survivors include his wife Patricia; their two children: Lisa (M. David) DeYoung of Cranberry Twp., PA and David S. Bodart of Porter, TX; two grandchildren: Andrew DeYoung and Katherine DeYoung. In addition to his parents, William E. and Elsie (Rolewitch) Bodart, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Jean (Bodart) Danen and Marilyn (Bodart) Naedler; sister-in-law Dorothy C. Phillips and his father-in-law and mother-in-law William and Catherine Phillips. Respecting Bill’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
