William R. Fritsche, 88, De Pere, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013. He was born in Milwaukee to William Roy and Lillian (Flesikoski) Fritsche on September 22, 1924. Bill is a graduate of North High School in Milwaukee and Marquette University Business School. During WWII he served in the Army Air Corps where he underwent pilot navigation and bombardier training. On July 15, 1950 Bill married Lola Leuthner in Madison. Bill worked for 35 years as a manufacturer’s representative at Neidhofer and Company, and retired from Patcraft in 1993. He served on the St. Joseph Academy School Board, Jaycee’s, Elks Club, EAA, Serra Club, President of the Resurrection School Board and was also a member of Resurrection Parish. He also enjoyed flying, fishing, gardening, woodworking and photography. Survivors include his children; Thomas (Trudy) Fritsche, Mt. Horeb, WI; James (Colleen) Fritsche, DDS, Greenleaf, WI; Mary (Brian) Craig, Leesburg, VA; Joan Fritsche, Esq. (Richard D'Ambrosio), Denver, CO; and Paula (Erik) Nylen, Boulder, CO; five grandchildren: Jessica (Aaron) Robbins; Storm and Piper Nylen; and Anthony and Sierra D'Ambrosio; great-granddaughter, Brooke Marie Robbins; and a sister, Joan Maye. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian Fritsche; and his wife, Lola Family and friends may visit on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr., Allouez from 8:30am to 10:00am. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
