Virginia (Gini) Huguet Virginia Ann (Kenward) Huguet, 78, of Allouez, was reunited with husband Bill, and son Mark in heaven on December 21, 2016. Gini was born August 21, 1938 in Bloomington, IL to the late Dr. Edward Rachel (Gries) Kenward. She graduated from Delavan High School (IL) in 1956 and St Francis School of Nursing, (Peoria, IL) as a registered nurse in 1959. She worked at the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from 1959 to 1962. She married the love of her life, William Huguet on September 22, 1962 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Delavan, IL. Gini and Bill moved to Green Bay after they married and raised three children Mark, Scott, and Jill. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren Jessica, Zachary, and Maxwell. She loved helping them with homework, taking them from school to practices, and going to their games and band concerts. She cherished playing card, board, and Wii games with them. Gini is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, sister, Barbara Barnes, and several brother- and sister- in-laws. She is survived by her son Scott (Lisa) Huguet, grandchildren Jessica, Zachary and Maxwell Huguet, daughter Jill Huguet (Mark Elsenheimer), brother, Tom Kenward and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum, 2121 Riverside Drive, on Tuesday, December 27 from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00am with Chaplain Larry Marto officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Abdel-Halim, Dr. Marsh and Unity Hospice staff, especially: Cindy, Donna, Larry, Kathy, Sarah, Melissa, and Karen Rafn for all their care and compassion.
