Victoria Emily Martin

Victoria Emily Martin, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2021 just 5 days before her 90th birthday.  She was born in the Town of Eaton on December 17, 1931 to the late George Albert and Nettie (Jurczykowski) Peer.  Vicki married Richard Martin at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Eaton on May 29, 1954.  Together they lived in De Pere and raised their family until his passing in 1970.  She worked many years in manufacturing for the Schrieber Cheese and Pauly Cheese companies until her retirement.  Vicki always enjoyed going out to eat with her family and especially enjoyed the Friday Fish Fry’s with Gary.  Catholic faith was very important and it guided her throughout her life. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughter Cindy (John) Loehlein; sons Gary and Steve (Lynn Geurts); grandchildren, Melissa Baeten (Nicolas Robins), Brent (Sarah) Baeten; step grandchildren, Paul (Katie) Loehlein, Amy Loehlein; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Abigail, Urijah, Isaiah; step-great grandchildren, Rita, Ava, Halle; her sister Leona Rondou; other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son Peter; brothers Joe, Benny, Harry, John, Andy, Chet and Mike Peer; sisters Edna Broekman and Anna DuBois.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, on Monday December 20 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.  A parish prayer service will conclude the evening at 7:00pm.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., Ledgeview, from 10:00am until 10:45am. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Matt Faucett officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
