Veronica Violet Thérèse Dorvinen

With heavy hearts we announce the birth and passing of our beloved daughter, Veronica Violet Thérèse Dorvinen who was born into the arms of the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital. Though her time with us was brief, she was deeply loved and will remain in our hearts forever. She is survived by her loving parents, Matthew and Emma (Janssen) Dorvinen, as well as her big sister, Elizabeth and big brother, Eli. Veronica is further survived by her grandparents; John “Jack” and Jan Janssen, Faith Nolde and Dale Dorvinen, great grandparents; Willard “Bill” Janssen and Violet Yerhot, aunts and uncles; Nichole (Thomas) Sutherland, Hannah Janssen, Clara (Cody) Neerdaels-Bennett, Tessa (Mason) Simpson and Sarah Janssen. Veronica will also be missed by her cousins; Claire, Bradford “B.J.”, Benjamin, Seraphim, Serenity, Raizen, Monica, Violet, Melody and Victoria as well as other family members and friends.

Preceding her in death are her great grandma Mary Jo Janssen, great grandpa Bernard Yerhot, great grandparents, Leo and Leona Nolde, great grandpa William Dorvinen and great grandma Sophie (Joseph) Perreault.

Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe St., Green Bay from 10:00am until the time of Mass at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

The family would like to express their gratitude to St. Vincent Labor and Delivery for their care and attention, to St. Gianna Clinic for their care, support and prayers, and to everyone who reached out and prayed for Veronica and our family.
