Timothy N. "Tim" Mleziva

November 8, 1950 — February 25, 2026

Timothy N. “Tim” Mleziva, age 75, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, with his wife Marilyn by his side. Tim was born on November 8, 1950, in Green Bay, the son of the late Gordon and Dolores (Kreilkamp) Mleziva.

Tim graduated from Denmark High School in 1968. During his younger years, he drove a milk can route, worked at a service station and was a barber. Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army, entering service on September 9, 1969, serving in Vietnam, and receiving an honorable discharge on September 4, 1971.

On June 22, 1974, he married his sweetheart, Marilyn Kozlovsky, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Glenmore. Together, they shared more than 51 years of marriage filled with hard work, laughter, and devotion to family. Tim and Marilyn were dairy farmers in the Town of Eaton, working side by side and building a life rooted in hard work. In 2000, they purchased Timmar Sanitation, which they jointly owned and operated until retiring in 2023.

Tim was a member of the Denmark VFW Post 6705, the Knights of Columbus and faithfully served his church as treasurer. He was well known for his love of an Old Style beer, a shot of Vermox, his signature curly mustache, and a contagious giggle that could instantly light up a room. Tim enjoyed cutting lawn, bowling, traveling, shooting pool, and playing sheepshead—especially when shared with his many friends.

Above all else, Tim cherished time with his family. Nothing brought him more joy than attending his grandchildren’s activities and being present for the moments that mattered most.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, of 51 years; his four children: Jeff (Lisa) Mleziva, Angie (Pete) Hermans, Chuck (Kari) Mleziva, and Amy (Sam) Kroll; and nine grandchildren: Katlynn, Gracie (special friend Ethan), Gordy, Macey (special friend Toby), Riley, Jacob, Alex, Lily, and Brooke. He is also survived by his sister Kathy (Stuart) Heyrman; sisters-in-law Sharon Collins and Ann Kozlovsky; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many dear friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson Tucker Kroll; his infant brother Joseph Mleziva; his parents-in-law Clarence and Arlene Kozlovsky; and brothers-in-law Bernie Kozlovsky and Kelly Collins.

Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, March 3, at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark, WI, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, March 4, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 5930 Humboldt Road, Town of Humboldt (Luxemburg).
