Tim Danen

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tim Danen, who passed away on June 24 at the age of 66. Tim was a loving dad, a faithful husband and a friend you could always count on. Tim's strong spirit and jovial personality made him a friend to many. He married Debbie Martin in 1980, and she preceded him in death in 2023. As a long-time firefighter for the De Pere and Ledgeview fire departments, Tim devoted his life to serving his community with bravery and dedication. He was passionate about his work and took pride in protecting and helping others. Outside of his work at the Shopko Distribution Center, driving truck, and firefighting, you could often find him cheering on his favorite teams, the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, or playing cards, dominos, and dice with family and friends. Tim truly was a "jack of all trades," and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, raising birds, being outdoors and vacationing.

Tim is survived by his son, Matt; pets Bella and Winston; siblings: Mike Danen, Kay Hendricks, Dan (Betty) Danen; in-law: Linda Danen; Mike (Barb) Martin, Darlene (Joe) Simoens, Pat (Sue) Martin, Dorothy (Bruce) Wolf, Donna (John) Herber, Frank (Barb) Martin, Denis (Nancy) Martin, Diane (Joe) Lawler, John (Julie) Martin, Doris (Curt) Dieleman; sister-in-law Joy Martin; significant other Dianne Tease; many cherished nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Paul and Dorothy, and wife, Debbie, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Pat, Mark and Peter Danen; brother-in-law Joe Hendricks; sister-in-law Linda Danen, nephew Scott Danen; father and mother-in-law Frank and Dorothy Martin; brothers-in-law: Paul and Ron Martin.

Family and friends may gather at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Monday, June 30, from 3:00pm until 5:30pm. Prayer service will be held at 6:00pm with Rev. Mike Ingold officiating. Rest in peace, Tim. Your legacy of strength and selflessness will be remembered by all.
