Terry J. Ferron, 76, of De Pere passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Bellin Hospital. Terry was born in Green Bay on April 21, 1947, to the late Cyril and Laverne (Vanderlin) Ferron. He attended Wrightstown High School, graduating in 1965. He went on to enlist in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. In 1984, while attending a baseball game, Terry made the catch of his life- he met his true love, Beth Just. Together, they shared 37 years of dedication, friendship and, of course, laughs.
Terry enjoyed watching and participating in sports- football, golf, and especially baseball. The St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers had his unwavering loyalty. Fantasy football and baseball leagues were one of the pastimes he appreciated sharing with Beth. He was famous for his secret family Pistachio Bread recipe- you could never eat just one slice. His incredibly witty sense of humor along with his devotion to his family and friends is the legacy Terry leaves behind.
Survivors include his partner in life, Beth Just; Beth’s children: Tracy Just-Poley and Todd (Amy) Just; grandchildren: Kirsten (Jordan Schuyler) Just, Justin Poley, and Dakota Mauer; and a great grandchild, Phrazier. He is further survived by his sister, Candy (Bill) Chambers; Beth’s siblings: Barb (Bob) Peluse and Bill (Shelly) Cowans; nieces and nephews: Rob (Cami) Chambers, Wendy (Shooter) Loch, Liz (Zach) Miller, Sarah (T.J.) Dibble, Becca (Jay) Gmeindl, and Amanda (Brad) Kotarek; his great-nephew, Will Chambers; and his great-great nephew and niece, Bennett Kubiak and Harleigh Chambers.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Laverne; Beth’s parents, William and Betty Cowans; his sister, Jill Ferron; and a nephew, Ryan Chambers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bellin Hospital and the De Pere Rescue Squad, for the kind and compassionate care Terry received.
