Terry A. Hella

Terry A. Hella, age 76, of De Pere, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, peacefully at home with his wife and daughter at his side.

He was born on April 17, 1946 in Appleton, WI to the late Robert and Frances (Jusko) Hella. He graduated from Kimberly High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1967. In July, 1968 Terry married his love Donna Martin. Over the 54 years of marriage, they shared great pride in building a sailboat and 3 homes together while creating a wealth of love and memories.

Terry loved being outdoors – in the woods and on the water. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, boating, playing chess and working on clocks. His joy for spoiling his daughter and grandkids was like no other. Terry had a deep love for the magic of the holidays and went out of his way to keep the spirit of believing alive.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter Tonya (Michael) Gary and his grandchildren Ethan & Aeryn.

Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters (Bob; Mory; Trudy and Lila)

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Saturday, February 18, from 1:00pm until the time of service at 4:00pm. Full military honors will be accorded after the service.
