Samuel Timm

November 21, 2005 — January 30, 2023

On January 30, 2023, Samuel Joel Timm chose to leave this earth and enter his eternal home. The son of Philip and Colleen (Morrow) Timm and loving brother of Adam (Mya), Sam was born on November 21, 2005 in Green Bay. He was the best birthday present his dad ever received.

Sam was a Junior at De Pere High School and was considering pursuing a career in mechanical engineering, often choosing his big brother Adam as his trusted advisor. He was light and love and laughter, and his mom lovingly called him Sam the Ham as a little boy. He was inquisitive and knew history forward and backward, with a memory and intelligence unlike any other. He was recently teaching himself how to play the guitar by watching YouTube videos, and before that he taught himself to play chess and was a patient teacher as he instructed all of us. Sam loved cars, especially his BMW. He liked fishing, was an excellent gamer, enjoyed going to the gym and would get up early for one reason - to watch F1 races. Recently, he enjoyed a trip to Europe with his family and marveled at a stop at the Monza F1 track outside Milan, Italy. He posed on the winner’s podium, gave a press conference, and got to ride around the track. He took photos at every turn and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Sam is further survived by his grandparents: Elvera Timm, Jerry Morrow, and Lou Ann Morrow; godparents Frank and Theresa Urbina, aunts and uncles: Scott Morrow, Cindy Morrow, Lynn (Rich) Patton, Nathanael Addison (Kirk Critton), Aaron (Holly) Timm, and Miriam (Ben) Brown, cousins: Dominick Hendricks, Dylan Hendricks, Rick Patton, Derrick Patton, Elise Patton, Bryce Morrow, Garrett Morrow, and Dylan Brown, as well as the best buddies a guy could ask for.

Sam was a friend to many, with a gentle and kind heart. He expressed his love freely and we ask that his spirit lives on in the love we extend to each other. When he turned 16, he immediately chose to be a tissue donor and some 75+ people will have their lives changed for the better due to Sam’s generous spirit.

On the night he passed, the sky was lit with the biggest and brightest shooting star that descended from the heavens and to tips of the trees behind our home. We know that Sam is now home with his heavenly Father and his grandpa Herbie Timm.
