Rosemary "Rosie" Meles

Rosemary (Rosie) Teresa Meles passed away peacefully Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the age of 88. She was born on July 16, 1937, in Hilbert, Wisconsin, to the late Victor and Veronica (Schumacher) Wolf.

A graduate of Hilbert High School in 1955, Rosie worked many years at Brillion Iron Works and the School District of Denmark as an administrative assistant where she built many strong and lasting friendships.

Rosie loved sewing, playing cards, crocheting and crafts. She particularly loved to travel. Her family and friends have fond memories of traveling with Rosie. She traveled to every state in the U.S. except Hawaii as well as several European countries. Rosie also made family gatherings, holidays and social events special with her baking and cooking.

Rosie was an active volunteer at All Saints Catholic Church including serving as the secretary of the alter society and teaching faith formation for several years.

Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, LeRoy Meles; her children, Keith (Jennifer) Meles, Karen (Kelly) Rottier, and Kevin (Kelly) Meles; her grandchildren Julia, Kyle, Lauren, Alex, Parker (Micaela) and Nolan (Meagen); and her great grandchildren, Brielle and Aiden. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren held a special place in Rosie’s heart.

In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her brothers Jerome (Jerry) Wolf, Leander (Lee) Wolf and Francis (Fran) Wolf.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cotter Funeral Home in Denmark, WI. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark, WI at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7th with Fr. Xavier Amirtham O.Praem presiding. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to All Saints Catholic Church would be appreciated.
