Rose Marie Schuh

Rose Marie (Opsteen) Schuh, age 85, of Rockland, passed away March 14, 2022 at her home. She was born April 14, 1936 to Susan Van Roy Opsteen and Leonard M. Opsteen in Kimberly, Wisconsin. She married Edwin Daniel Schuh on August 5, 1959. Together they farmed in Maribel for 35 years prior to retiring to the DePere area. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the center of her world.

She is survived by her husband; Edwin Schuh, her children: Susan (Mark) Vandermeuse, Edwin (Heidi) Schuh Jr, Donald (Susan) Schuh and Gary Schuh; grandchildren: Crystal (Dean) Vesperman, Carrie (Destiny) Resler, Makayla Suzumu, Edwin Schuh III, Rose Schuh, Donald Schuh, Kathryn Schuh, Alexander Schuh. Great Grandchildren: Kasle, Ash, Ember Resler, Adalia Vesperman. Further survived by: sister Nancy (Bernard) Schuh, brothers: Leonard (Ellen), Donald (Linda) Opsteen, sisters in-law: Regina Fischer, Monica Dresang, Carol Schuh, Anna Schuh, Helen (Luke) Ratajczak, Patricia Schuh, Dori (Jim) Behnke.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Susan Opsteen, her in-laws: George and Lauretta Schuh, as well as numerous other family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St, De Pere, on Friday, March 18, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Mike Ingold officiating. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
