Ronald “Ron” Stoychoff, 52, of DePere, passed away peacefully Friday, October 14, 2022, surrounded by his adoring friends and family following a brave battle with cancer. Ron was born December 22, 1969, to Gary and Janice (Bors) Stoychoff in Green Bay. He attended Beaumont School and graduated in 1988 from Southwest High School where he made countless life-long friends.
Ron spent many years in the transportation industry working as a semi-driver for Don Van Straten Trucking and as a tractor trailer mechanic for Master Fleet.
Spending time with his friends and family was what Ron did best. Bowling and playing darts over drinks or an entertaining round of trivia with him kept everyone laughing with tears. He also enjoyed camping and watching the Milwaukee Brewers.
Ron is survived by his father, Gary Stoychoff; his son, Alex Stoychoff; his girlfriend, Beth Constantino; his ‘bonus-daughters’, Kaitlynn and Emily Verheyden; siblings-from-a-different mother and father, Jodi and Troy; as well as many other cousins; many aunts and uncles; and best friends, Jesse, Jenny, and Shellie.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Stoychoff.
A special thank you to all at St. Vincent’s Hospital involved in Ron’s care- their compassion made this journey much smoother.
Friends and family may gather on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 1pm until 3pm at Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere. A funeral service for Ron will begin at 3pm at the funeral home.
