Ronald L. De Cleene, age 81, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. The son of Lawrence and Cecilia (Haen) De Cleene was born on March 22, 1940. Ron married Annice Hutjens on September 15, 1962 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, De Pere. Ron worked at Brillion Iron Works and White Clover Dairy Cheese, before starting at Procter & Gamble in Green Bay, where he worked 31 years before retiring in 1996.
Ron built a workshop where he loved working with wood and making countless games/puzzles for his grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed making fishing jigs and lures for many years. He also enjoyed many years of hunting with the “City Slickers and Clover Kickers” hunting crew (original founding members: Larry (his dad), Clarence D, Dubby G, Leo D, Bob D, Mike D, Percy G, Larry D, Roy P, Clarence K; later on Ron D, Jim B, Marv P, and Alan D).
Ron is survived by his children: Lou Ann, Lynn (Bruce) Coulthard, and Lisa (Joe) Pritzl. Daughter-in-Law: Vicki (Bob) Vandenhoven. Grandchildren: Steven (Aprille) De Cleene and Alicia (Tyler) Renon. Patrick, Stephanie, and Jason Rocque. Kevin, Isaac, and Lance Coonen. Hunter and Jacinda Pritzl. Special grandchildren: Candice (Tyler) Wallander, Leloni, and Ryan Coulthard. Great grandchildren: Kaylee and Dominic Renon, Dahlia De Cleene, and Piper Wallander. Sisters: Lois (Ronn) Liebergen, Muriel (Dale) VanZeeland. Sister/Brother-in-laws: Donald (Carol) Hutjens, RoseAnn (Gerald) VanLanen, Doris Mancheski, Laverne (Fran) De Cleene, Janet Krautkramer, Sue (Alan) Tetzlaff, and Dale (Winnie) Hutjens.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife Annice (the Love of his life for 55 years), and his son/hunting buddy Alan, his parents Larry and Cecilia De Cleene. Father and mother-in-law: Henry and Germaine Hutjens and brother-in-law: Ken Krautkramer.
Family and friends may gather on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at St. Clare Catholic Church-St.Paul Site, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown beginning at 9:00am until 10:45am, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. A private family burial will be held at St. Clare Catholic Church-St. Mary Site, Greenleaf.
