“The roses aren’t as pretty, the sun isn’t quite as high. The birds don’t sing as sweet of a lullaby. The stars seem a little bit faded, the clouds just a little more gray, and it feels like things won’t ever be the same.” Gordon Garner
Heaven got another Angel on October 30, 2022. Born on February 3, 1942, Ronald Blaise Piontek was the third son of the late Peter and Anna Piontek of Green Bay, WI. Ron married Rose (Joski) on May 30, 1962. They had three daughters: Paula, Malina and Rosanne; and one son, Ron.
From an early age Ron was always working. At age 12 he was working with his brother Vic at a local bakery in Green Bay. Ron found his true life calling, when he started his autobody shop in Denmark where he became a huge part of the community. Everyone that knew him, knows he loved to help others, and if you needed something he would find it. As a lifetime member of the Denmark Lions Club, Ron devoted many hours supporting their local events and fundraisers.
Ron made friends wherever he went and truly wanted to get to know the people he met. A good friend of Ron’s said, Ron was a legend in the community.
The true loves of Ron’s life were his wife Rose, with whom he just celebrated 60 years of marriage and his family. He loved buying Rose beautiful, bright flowers and her favorite carrot cake for her birthday. He was so proud of his family, and everyone he spoke to knew that. He insisted on sending favorite foods home with them, especially booyah and his famous chili.
Ron is survived by his wife Rose (Joski); his children: Paula (Joe) Bucci of Hartland, WI, Malina Piontek (Quinn Banyai) of Madison, WI, Rosanne Piontek Bachman of St. Louis, MO, and Ron Piontek of Green Bay. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Karina (Andrew) Lancaster of Columbus, Ohio, Makayla Fischer and Brayden Banyai of Madison, WI, and Blaise and Ben Bachman of St. Louis, MO. He is further survived by his sister, Marlene Danielski (Darold), and in-laws Donna Deprey, Bob (Sandy) Joski, and Pat Joski.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Anna Piontek, and father- and mother-in-law, Nick and Ann Joski; his siblings Ray (Carol) Piontek and Vic (June) Piontek; and his in-laws Mary Ann (Cal) DeBaker, Barb (Norbert) Lax, John Deprey, and John Joski.
