Roland "Rollie" Craanen

Roland “Rollie” Craanen, age 65, of Denmark, went to join his family in heaven on Saturday, December 19, 2020. The son of Clayton and Ardella Craanen was born June 8, 1955 in Green Bay. Rollie worked many years for Bellin Health Security, and recently retired. In addition, he spent the majority of his life farming. He married Lois Van Den Elzen on October 28, 1995 in Green Bay. His hobbies and interests included: gardening, spending time outdoors, tinkering and spending time with family and friends. Rollie had a heart of gold, would help anyone out and was there for everybody. He was the family jokester and a great protector to anyone he met. He will be sadly missed by all.
Rollie was a great husband to his wife, Lois; loving father to Jonathan Dillinger and Tanya Dillinger; cherished grandfather to: Jazmyne, Mykal, Addyson, Kaylyn, Alyssa and Jacoby. He is further survived by his father Clayton Craanen, siblings: Richard (Melinda) Craanen, Wanda Umentum, Brenda (Bob) Havlovitz, Tammy (Randy) Hermans and Bridget (Chris Kabara) VandenBush; mother-in-law Loretta Van Den Elzen; godfather Herbert Craanen; aunt Mavis Boulanger, Lois’ siblings and their significant others, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Preceded in death by his mother Ardella; two sisters: Kathleen and Christine as well as his grandparents, father-in-law, Eugene “Joe” Van Den Elzen and many other family members.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty Rd R, Denmark, on Tuesday, December 29, from 3:00pm until 6:30pm. Memorial service at 6:30pm with Deacon Bill Burkel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
