Roger Thomas Van Drisse, of Allouez, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026. The son of the late Edward and Phoebe (DeLain) Van Drisse was born on December 21, 1934, in Green Bay. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1953. He furthered his education and graduated from Notre Dame in 1957. On July 22, 1961, he married the love of his life, Marjorie Van Drisse, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano and celebrated 56 years of marriage before Marjorie passed in 2017.
Roger proudly served our country in the Army Reserves until his honorable discharge. Following his father’s footsteps into the automobile business, Roger owned and operated Van Drisse Lincoln-Mercury auto dealership for 60 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time in Door County and wintering in Marco Island, Florida, which they did for 40 years. He also treasured his time with his grandchildren. He was an active member at Resurrection Church in Allouez for over 60 years.
Survived by his son: Stephen (Jamie) and his grandchildren: Connor, Hannah, Morgan ( Nick Lawler), and Lauren; sister-in-law: Peggy Gallagher, as well as many numerous nieces and nephews.
He is proceeding in death by his parents, wife; Marjorie, sister Joanne (Tom) Lynn, Carole Burgess, Marilyn Burnette, and Sandra Sinclair, sisterin-law; Noreen (Bill) Woodward.
Family and friends may visit at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr, Green Bay on, Wednesday, May 20, from 1:30 pm until 3:15 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:30 pm with Father Bob Kollath officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and social workers at Unity Hospice and the caregivers at Renaissance by Rennes. Your loving care and compassion for my father le a lasting impression that our family will never forget.
