With heavy hearts we have to say goodbye to our dear husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandpa, Robert J. Kriescher. Born on February 6, 1931, he was the son of John and Mary (Sandor) Kriescher. On August 5, 1950, he married LaVerne Fonferek at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay. Robert was an avid woodworker, having hand-crafted an intricate model train. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, LaVerne; children: Evelyn (Peter) Reignier of Green Bay, Mary (Rick) Vercauteren of Green Bay, Bonnie (Paul) Lasee of Beecher, Floyd Kriescher of Athelstane, Jack (Kris) Kriescher of Athelstane, Ken (MayJo) Kriescher of Green Bay and Annette (Steve) Anderson of Green Bay; grandchildren: Scott (Kelly) Reignier, Cheryl (Brian) Klawitter, Kristie Vandeyacht, Kimberly (Kurt Bresler) Vercauteren, Jason (Sherri) Lasee, Shane (Kerry McCaughn) Lasee, Jeremy (Bobbi) Kriescher, John (Heidi) Kriescher, James (Amanda) Kriescher, Jenni (Poncho) Becerril, Jack Kriescher, Dan (Debbie) Kriescher, Paula (Jason Lade) Kriescher, Michael (Heather) Anderson, Tyler (Julie) Anderson and Clint Anderson; 32 great-grandchildren; in-laws: Bill (Laona) Fonferek, Marilyn Olson, and Jean (Glen) Norman; a special friend Darrel Klarkowski; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary; father-in-law and mother-in-law Peter and Florence Fonferek; daughter-in-law Suzi Kriescher; great-grandson Gabriel Kriescher, as well as other family. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Sunday, July 2, from 4-7pm with a parish prayer service to conclude the evening at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Monday at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S Oneida Street, Green Bay, from 10:00am until 10:45am. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stiles. Our family would like to extend our thanks to the caregivers of Aurora Healthcare and Unity Hospice.
