Robert "Bob" D. Williams

October 19, 1955 — May 19, 2026

De Pere

Robert D. Williams died too soon on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Bob was born in Green Bay to the late Robert J. and Dorothy (Delforge) Williams. He graduated from Abbott Pennings High School in 1974 and then from NWTC as an auto technician. Bob worked for Brennan Buick for 31 years, first as a tech and then as the service manager. After the closing of Brennan Buick in 2012, Bob went to work for De Pere Hardware as the small engine repair guy (he could fix anything!).

Bob married Robin Van Rite on July 24, 1981, and they were blessed with two sons, Cory and Troy. After his love for his family, Bob’s greatest joy was spending time at the family cottage on Kelly Lake over the last 65 years.

In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by his siblings; Bill (Mary) Williams and Carol (Jim Golembeski) Dean, his mother in law, Bonnie Dewick and sisters and brothers in law; Renee (Bob) Van Rossum, Rick (Robin) Van Rite and Rod (Jenny) Van Rite. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and so very many friends!

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father in law, Harry Van Rite.

As per Bob’s wishes, a private family memorial service was held.
