With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert J. “Bob” Lynett, a beloved son, brother and friend on July 2, 2025 at the age of 64. He was born on January 22, 1961 in Milwaukee to the late Russell and Patricia (Miller) Lynett. He graduated from Antigo High School in 1979. He received certification in Machine Tool Operation from North Central Technical Institute as well as certification from Marian College of Fond Du Lac in Quality and Productivity Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Robert had a varied work history from Produce Manager to working for Donaldson Company, Inc., Plexus, Kohler and his own business Professional Inspections as a home inspector.
He enjoyed watching the Brewers and was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan and hanging out with the guys, especially Mike, Jay and Jim.
He finally achieved his dream of moving to Florida in 2024 only to move back to De Pere, WI. after several catastrophic hurricanes and health issues.
He is survived by his brother Patrick Lynett of Eau Claire, sister Catherine Turner (Lynett) of Florida, sister Colleen Iodence (Lynett) of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan and sister Kelly (Lynett) Williams in Buffalo Minnesota. He also is survived by nephews Aaron Lynett, Riley Turner, Matthew Richardson, Reese Williams, Kieran Williams and nieces Jordan Turner, Molly Lynett, and Ash Richardson.
A graveside service will be at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo, WI on September 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
