Richard "Rich" D. Pagel

Richard D. Pagel, 83, of Greenleaf passed away May 21, 2022, peacefully at home.

Rich was born November 22, 1938, in Brillion, WI to the late Harvey and Viola (Stanelle) Pagel. He was raised on the family farm in Greenleaf. In 1956, he graduated from Wrightstown High School. After graduation, Rich served in the United States Army stationed in Germany. On September 14, 1973, Rich married Pat Devroy of De Pere. Rich and Pat lived on the family farm in Greenleaf where they raised their family. Rich worked as a rural mail carrier for Greenleaf and surrounding communities. He was a dedicated member, custodian, and secretary for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He was also an avid bowler, even serving as director of the Green Bay Bowling Association. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working the farm, and watching the Milwaukee Brewers play baseball.

Rich is survived by his wife Pat, daughter Shelly (Todd) Raasch of De Pere, son Brian (Amy) and daughter Kayli of Greenleaf, and son Craig of Greenleaf. Sisters Diane Delvaux, and Judy (Richard) Rotzenberg of Greenleaf, a sister-in-law Rita Devroy of De Pere, and brother-in-law Jim Devroy of Green Bay, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death were Rich’s parents, brothers-in-law Ken Delvaux, Alan Devroy, and Cliff Devroy, and sisters-in-law Judy Devroy and Mary Ann Devroy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rich's memory to support Alzheimer’s and Cancer research.

Visitation will be held Thursday May 26, 2022, from 9:30am – 11:45am at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church - Greenleaf, with a Service at 12noon with Pastor Mike Gehl officiating. Military Honors will take place following the Service.

Rich’s family would like to personally thank the doctors and nurses of Prevea Healthcare, and Unity Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
