Nancy L. Bergman, age 86 of De Pere, passed away on April 29, 2021. She was born on February 19, 1935 in Green Bay to the late Leo and Rose (Reynolds) Kosnar. She graduated from Green Bay East High School, and on July 2, 1955, she married James Bergman at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay.
Family and Faith were the highest priority for Nancy. She lived a life of devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren. Always wanting the very best for them and putting herself in last place. The simple things in life are what she enjoyed the most. Being at home and always, always there to meet every need all the way through every stage as our family grew. Through all the ups and downs of life she was a fighter that never gave up on those she loved.
LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH are 3 words that describe the life Nancy lived. What this looked like for her was to embrace and enjoy every person she encountered. She could talk to anyone and find good conversation. One of her greatest joys was hospitality. She could make a party out of simple gatherings and put on the finest dinners at their home for family and friends. Dancing, church gatherings, parades, house parties, Packer games and a lot of camping.
She is survived by her husband, James, their children; Stephen Bergman, Kathy (David) Payette, Robert Bergman, David (Susan) Bergman and Ken (Robin) Bergman, grandchildren; Drew (Shannon), Paige, Justin (Morgan), Robb, Doug (Emma-Jean), Patrick (Tara), Brian (Ann), Alexis and Allison. Nancy is further survived by her eight great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, infant son Joseph, and sisters; Catherine (Melvin) Duggan, Rosemarie (Maury) Peot and Patricia (Peter) Gomber.
