Myron B. Kudick, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 4, 2025. Born on November 2, 1948, in Green Bay to Leonard and Frances (Pieschek) Kudick. He graduated from Denmark High School in 1966. He then married his high school sweetheart Kathleen Schlies at St. Mary’s Church in Tisch Mills on October 2, 1970.
In the beginning of his career, he worked at Lakeside Foods as a machinist mechanic. However, he loved the outdoors, and he soon yearned to become a farmer. For 25 years he had dairy cows, but he didn’t really care much for cows and soon turned to growing vegetables which quickly blossomed into becoming a “beet farmer” as the grandkids called him. He later became the largest beet grower in the Midwest. With his son-in-law Dale, he started a firewood business which flourished. Lastly, he started growing sugar beets to sell to deer hunters. At his death he was still doing all three. He didn’t ever want to retire. His wife Kathleen was his rock and cared for him daily. When he knew the end was coming, he would thank her for every little thing she did and tell her he loved her so much.
He was a proud father to his daughters, but he was even prouder of his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy, attending all their numerous high school and college sporting events.
Myron is survived by his loving and devoted wife: Kathleen; their children: Amy ( Dale) Ullman, Brenda ( Bob) VanHimbergen and Anne (Jason) Pearson ; grandchildren: DJ (Annie)Ullman, Taylor ( fiancée EJ Mastrocola) Ullman, Olivia ( significant other Grant Schroeder) Ullman, Elise VanHimbergen, Haley ( fiancée Derek Pohl) Pearson, Brooklyn Pearson; great-grandchild: Aiden; mother: Frances Kudick; brother: Gerald ( Mary Rose) Kudick; sister: Sharon ( Tom) Colwell; special nephew: Eric Hultgren; his right hand man on the farm: Dean Duckart and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
