Michael Kraynik, 76 of rural Denmark, passed away April 21st, 2026, at Unity in De Pere following advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease. Born January 18, 1950, in Kewaunee Wisconsin to Joseph and Lorraine Kraynik and stayed on the home farm all his life. Mike was drafted in 1969 and spent 2 years in service before he began building homes and barns for local contractors such as Deterville Lumber, Nesvacil Builders, and many others. Mike then went out on his own operating Kraynik Builders and worked as a handyman for 15 years in Green Bay. Mike was soft spoken and kind and loved all his animals on the farm.
Mike is survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers: Joann Rozmarnoski, Douglas (Joan) Kraynik, Priscilla (Dave) Bierke in rural Denmark. Pat (Diane) Kraynik in Luxemburg and Cheryl Mitchell in Pound, Wisconsin. Also, many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lorraine Kraynik and his brother in law Robert Rozmarenowski.
Family and friends may gather on Friday, April 24, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark with a service to follow at noon, Pastoral Minister Christal Wavrunek officiating.
Thank you to the staff at Sycamore Lodge in Algoma and Unity hospice in De Pere for the care and compassion they showed Mike in his final days.
