Mary "Marie" Ourada

Mary “Marie” Ourada age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. She was born on July 7, 1934 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Braun) Vogel.

Marie grew up in Mishicot on a dairy farm and graduated from Mishicot High School. On October 27, 1956, she married Richard Ourada at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tisch Mills, WI.

Prior to purchasing the farm, Marie was a nurse’s aide. Marie and Richard purchased the family farm from his parents in Stangelville where they worked diligently with their two sons, raising farm animals and working several acres of land. She was a loving wife and mother, enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She had a strong work ethic and lived a life based on faith and love.

Marie is survived by one sister Dorothy Monka; one brother Vincent (Arlene) Vogel; three sisters-in-laws Mary Vogel, Rosie (Jerry) Voelker and Sissy Ourada.

Besides her parents and husband Richard, she is preceded in death by twin daughters Sandra and Susan; two sons David and Gary; her brothers and sisters Leonard (Louise) Vogel, Frank (Joan) Vogel, Robert Vogel, Bernadine (Jerry) Parizek and Jerome Vogel; father and mother-in-law Charles (Ludmilla) Ourada; brother and sister in-laws Dorothy (Joe) Zima, Julia (Vernon) Kudick, Helen (Leonard) Mleziva, Alvan (Marilyn) Ourada and Charles (Joann) Ourada.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, August 8, 2025 at St. Therese Parish- St. Lawrence Catholic Church-Stangelville, N2085 Co. Road AB, Denmark, WI 54208 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am with a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Fr. Dennis Drury presiding. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Stangelville.

Marie's family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Bellevue Senior Living staff, Rescue Squad and St. Vincent hospital.
