Mary E. Jensen

Mary E. Jensen, 72, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, December 31st, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1953, to the late Richard and Nancy. Mary; the oldest of 17 children. She graduated from Marquette University and soon after met the love of her life, Dr. Richard Jensen. In 1980, she married Rick and lovingly raised their 5 children. Her devotion to Christ was at the center of her life and fueled everything she did. She will be remembered for her humility, kindness, intelligence, sense of humor, and fun-loving enthusiasm.

Survivors include her loving husband Richard; children, Richard (Preceous) Jensen, Nicholas (Mercedes) Jensen, Elizabeth (Jason) Davis, Robert (Patti) Jensen, and Jordan Jensen; as well as 12 grandchildren, Eden, Menemsha, Corben, Fintan, Emmett, Brahm, Lillian, Amelia, Theodore, Orrin, Jacob, and Avila. She is also survived by her many sisters, brothers, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Nancy; sister, Simone; mother and father-in-law, Dr. Richard and Molly Jensen, and her sister-in-law, Martha.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Friday, January 9, from 4-7pm, with a prayer service to conclude the evening. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 10, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe St, Green Bay, from 9:30am until 10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Ryan Krueger officiating.
