Marvel Dittrich, age 86 of De Pere, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on March 31, 2024. Marvel was born on January 29, 1938 to the late Frederick and Elsie (Ehoff) Gorr. Marvel attended schools in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the class of 1956. She was previously married to Jerad Dittrich.
Marvel was employed in management with HC Pranges and Prange-Way in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Green Bay. She was also a health unit coordinator in the NICU at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
In her earlier years, she was a charter member of the Sheboygan Junior Women’s Club where she served as an officer. She also enjoyed making her home beautiful through interior decorating, loved caring for flowers and plants, and was an avid Packer fan. Marvel dearly adored her cats, Carly and Cooper. She was also devoted to her weekly Wednesday services at Hope Lutheran Church.
Marvel is survived by her children: Scott (Laurie), Daniel (Valerie), and Tamara (Harry); grandchildren: Shawn (Michelle), Jerad (Lisa), Jessica (fiancé Taylor), Jaimi (Scott), and Jasmin (Jordan); great-grandchildren: Jace, Quinn, Carson, Tanner, Willow, Jackson, Maya, and Parker; and brothers: Gordon (Eileen) of Sheboygan and Steve (Donna) of Arlington, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Jerad Dittrich; and her cats Mitzi and CeeCee.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 starting at 11 am at Hope Lutheran Church, 700 S Superior St, De Pere. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm with Rev. Matt Baye officiating. Marvel will be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Sheboygan.
A memorial fund has been established in Marvel’s name.
