Many time you would find him talked to someone in the neighborhood or just purely watching nature. He was a constant presence on the sidelines and showrings, always cheering on his grandchildren or offering thoughtful advice during their games and showings. Mark was rarely still; when he wasn’t outdoors building something, he could be found grilling, cooking, gardening, canning or cutting wood.

Mark was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a large believer in living life with no regrets. He was a role model to many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He cherished his family and was so proud of them.
