Marilyn Roggow, a loved sister, died peacefully in the arms of her Lord after a short illness on Wednesday, December 30, at Aurora Hospital. She was born August 13, 1932 in Milwaukee to Arnold and Edna (Weiland) Roggow and graduated from East High School in 1950. Marilyn was an accountant at Van’s Hardware and later became the Deputy Treasurer for Brown County before transferring to the Finance Department, from which she retired in 1995. Marilyn enjoyed traveling within the United States and visited many foreign countries. She enjoyed bridge, card games, lunch with friends, and being up north with family and friends. Marilyn was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible School, sang in the choir, made quilts, and helped with the food pantry.
Marilyn is survived by her sister Lois; brother Bill; two extended families and her faithful canine companion Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles.
Private family services were held for Marilyn at Resurrection Lutheran Church.
The Roggow family would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Patel and the staff of Aurora Hospital for their compassionate care.
