Margaret Mary Jantz

Our dear mother, Margaret Mary Jantz sadly passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 92. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance.

She lived a long life that included a loving marriage to her husband John Jantz and leaves behind her four children, Joseph Jantz (Kathy), Margaret Divarco (Rich), Elizabeth Mitchell (Jim) and Kristina Casper (Nick) as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. While Mary loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother she also enjoyed numerous hobbies. Horseback riding, gardening, playing in various card game clubs, and taking care of her beloved family dogs over the years. Mary always had a special place in her heart for all animals.

Mary will be greatly missed by her children but after a long battle with dementia and missing her beloved John we know that she is now in a better place with Dad enjoying an afternoon cocktail and catching up on the time they have been apart.

The memorial will be a private ceremony remembering Mary in the presence of close family.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Aspire for the love and kindness given to our mother over the past four years.

In lieu of flowers or donations the family would ask you to donate to your local animal rescue organization of choice in honor of Mary.
