Margaret A. Kozlovsky

October 21, 1929 — April 21, 2024

Margaret (Ausloos) Kozlovsky passed away peacefully with her loving family in her presence on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was born to the late Victor and Christine (Otradovec) Ausloos on October 21, 1929. Her life was one of dedication to family, hard work, commitment, love of laughter and fun. Those who knew Margaret knew that she was most proud of her family. Margaret attended County Normal for her education in teaching. She then taught grades 1 through 8 in a one room schoolhouse for two years until she married Robert Kozlovsky on April 28, 1951. Together they raised 12 children. Her children blessed her with 32 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren, all of whom had a special place in her heart and an entry in her birthday book. Margaret was a faithful member of St. Clare, formerly St. Paul’s Parish in Wrightstown. She was a member of the lady’s society, Martha Choir, she distributed communion and lectured. She also decorated church for Easter and Christmas for many years. In earlier years she provided payroll services for the teachers at St. Paul’s school. She sewed for the sisters of St. Paul when they needed mending done or other various projects.

Margaret and Robert, along with their sons, successfully built the family business, Kozlovsky Surge, together serving the dairy farming community for over 50 years. Margaret did all the bookkeeping and many hours of customer service while maintaining the home and raising their children. In addition to her work with the business, she also drove school bus and later worked for 10 years at Seroogy’s where she made many lasting friendships that she maintained until her last days.

Margaret was a skilled seamstress making most of her children’s clothes. It was always a treat to receive a new pair of flannel jammies. Later in life Margaret discovered quilting when her daughter Bonnie started her own business and started offering quilting classes in her stores. Over the years, Margaret made and shared hundreds of her quilts and table runners with many whom she knew and loved.

Margaret loved to golf, play cards, bowl, attend concerts in the park and the occasional visit to the local casino. She always looked forward to a night of sheepshead, or a visit with any of her loved ones. She loved to watch the Brewers and looked forward to seeing who would be playing this year.

\Preceding Margaret in death is her loving husband Robert Kozlovsky, her parents Victor and Christine Ausloos, in laws, James and Ella Kozlovsky, brothers; Cletus, Orin and Victor Ausloos, Jr., her son-in-law Paul Schneider and several more dear family members.

Survivors include her children; Marcelline (Tony) Cerato, Marlene (Paul) Schneider, Bonita (Samuel) Welsch, Maggie Eisenman, Christine (William) Ehnerd, Daniel (Renee) Kozlovsky, Joseph (Desiree) Kozlovsky, Theresa (Mark) Farrell, Thomas (Nancy) Kozlovsky, Timothy (Eileen) Kozlovsky, Sarah (Ron) Evers, and Mary (Adam) Sowatzka. All of Margaret’s grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss the joy she brought to their lives during her 94 years on earth. Also left behind are brothers; Elton, Lyle (Carol), Otis (Susie), Arliss (Vi) and Joseph (Dana) Ausloos, Robert’s two sisters, Helen Thompson and Bernice Johnson.

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at St Clare Parish – St Paul Site, 437 Main St Wrightstown, beginning at 9:00am until 10:45am with a Mass of Christian Burial to

follow at 11:00am. Entombment will take place at Shrine of the Good Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

The family would like to express their most heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Unity Hospice and Sage Meadow for their dedication to the care that was provided Margaret in her last months with us.

We would like to ask anyone who has received a quilt or table runner from Margaret to please bring it with you to the funeral and place it on the back of your pew. We would like to honor the admiration she had for all her friends and family by paying tribute to love that went into every stitch. She would want you to remember her whenever you lay out your table runners or hot pads and feel the hugs from her inside each and every quilt she made. Rest easy Mom – you are and always will be loved by many.
