Lou Ann Gutzman

Lou Ann Gutzman, age 68, of Wrightstown, passed away suddenly on December 7, 2024. The daughter of the late Carl and Lois Bunnow was born on May 26, 1956. On July 2, 1974, she married Greg Gutzman at St. Luke Church in Little Chute, and together they shared 50 years of marriage. For over 20 years Lou Ann proudly served the community as a first responder and EMT for County Rescue. Her greatest joy though was taking care of her grandchildren and being present in their lives. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and was a proud member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wrightstown.

She is survived by her husband, Greg; children: Aaron Gutzman and Tanya Schroth; grandchildren: Thea Klein, Kenny (Betsy) Gutzman, Bud Schroth, Nicotiana Schroth; great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Amara, Luna, Elijah, Aries, Leo; siblings: Judy Milis, Dan (Sadie) Milis, Brad (Nan) Bunnow and Kevin (Dawn) Bunnow; sisters-in-law Gwen (Bill) Herrmann and Gail Peterson, as well an nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carl and Lois, Lou Ann was preceded in death by Greg’s parents: Dianne and Orval Gutzman.

Family and friends may visit at St. John Lutheran Church, 206 Plum Road, Wrightstown, on Saturday, December 14, from 10:00am until 11:45am. Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm (noon) with Pastor Robert Wilke officiating. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
