Lori Beth Hardy (née Smetana)

Lori Beth Hardy, age 46, passed away on August 8, 2025, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to those around her.

Lori is survived by her devoted husband, Jonathan Hardy; her beloved fur babies, Sadie, Diesel, Grayson, and Vinnie; her mother, Joan Smetana; her brothers, Mike (Michelle) Smetana and Rick Smetana; as well as many relatives and friends who cherished her vibrant spirit.

An avid gardener, Lori found joy in nurturing her plants and creating beauty in the world around her. Her passion for animals shone through her tireless work as a foster mom to dozens of rescue dogs, giving them love and care through her involvement with Wild and Free

A Celebration of Lori's life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Cotter Family Gathering Center, 518 Meadow Lane, Wrightstown, WI, beginning at 2:00pm and will include a sharing of memories at 2:30pm. Casual attire is encouraged.
