Lois Liebergen, 88, of Wrightstown passed away Thursday April 14, 2022, surrounded by family.
Lois was born to the late Cornelius and Anna (Conrad) Hietpas, on January 16, 1934, in Little Chute, married Clayton Liebergen June 9, 1955, in a double ring ceremony, with Clayton’s cousin Leo Nackers and Lois’ twin sister Alice Hietpas. The two were lifelong members of St. Clare Catholic Church, Wrightstown, where she belonged to the Christian Mothers Society. Along with farming Lois enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, crocheting, knitting, playing cards and other games with all of her grandchildren
She is survived by her children: Carol (Richard) Stuyvenberg, Mark (Jean) Liebergen, Tim (Lou Ann) Liebergen, Paula (John) Van Dyck, Conrad (Lisa) Liebergen, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, siblings Alice (Leo) Nackers, Sr. Germain Hietpas, brother Merlin (Rose) Hietpas, sister-in-law Irene Hietpas. Sister-in-law Martha Van Oss and brother-in-law Cyril Nies.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband Clayton, son in law Richard, great grandson Crew, siblings Vernon Hietpas, Elaine (Pete) Van Dera, Paul (Margaret) Hietpas, Roger (Pat) Hietpas, Eugene (Susie), Omar (Shirley) Hietpas, Irene (Norbert) Roffers, Ken Hietpas.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lois’ name.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 4pm until 6:45pm, at Cotter Funeral Home (860 N. Webster Ave. De Pere). Prayer Service at 7pm with Deacon Ken Kabat officiating. Visitation will continue Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 9am to 10:45am at St. Clare - St. Paul site (437 Main St. Wrightstown), with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Father Brian Wideman officiating.
The family would like to thank Patient Pines for their compassion and “Caring With Patience” for their mother during this time.
