Kurt J. Peters, age 59, of DePere, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his home.
Born in DePere on September13, 1965, he was a son of the late Robert and Veramae (Smits) Peters.
On November19, 1985 he married the former Connie Perra in Green Bay.
He worked as a long-haul truck driver and was a machine operator at Georgia Pacific. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved the outdoors, his dogs and spending time with loved ones.
Survivors include his surrogate children: Macie Gorst, Green Bay, Nathanielle (Rachel) Gorst, Milwaukee, five surrogate grandchildren: Tai, Jace Alexis, Lochlan and Finley; mother-in-law, Carol (Moureau) Diaz; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Mike Perra and Sandy (Chris) Renner.
Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Veramae.
