Kevin Mancheski

Kevin J. Mancheski, age 68 of Denmark, passed away on March 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Denmark, Wisconsin to the late Lawrence and Margaret (Dixon) Mancheski on November 19, 1957. On September 8, 2001, he married Rebecca Holda.

He worked for Fort Howard Steel for 20 years, and then for Salm Partners until 2015 when his health no longer allowed him to work. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors. Doing anything outdoors, cutting wood, mowing the lawn, deer hunting or just walking in the woods. Kevin enjoyed tinkering around and could fix anything. He would sometimes enjoy just sitting in the shed on a lawn chair, watching people driving by, and if an ambulance or fire truck went by with their lights and sirens, he was on his way to see what was happening. Kevin would sometimes just get in the car with Beckie, and they would drive until they found a small town to stop in the tavern to chat with the locals. He was truly a people person.

Survivors include his wife, Beckie, children; Amy Zirbel, Ashley (Bobby Plog) Mancheski, Adam Mancheski and Dylan Mancheski, grandchildren; Hadley and Bailey Zirbel, Jr., Jackie, Josalynn, Bentley and Aubree Plog. Kevin is further survived by his siblings; Dan Mancheski, Sandy Leiterman, Cindy (Jesse) Kusserow and Mike (Cathy) Mancheski, brothers in law; Rick (Michelle) Holda and Butch (Karen) Holda, sister in law, Roxann Holda, mother in law, Sharon Holda as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents, brothers in law, Doug Leiterman, Mike Holda and Scott Holda, and his father in law, Robert Holda.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark from 3:00 pm until the service at 5:00 pm, with Pastor Andy Zoerb officiating.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Davita Dialysis Center, the doctors and nurses at Aurora BayCare Hospital, especially Nurse Dan for your wonderful caring presence.
