Kenneth "Ken" Vanderkinter

Kenneth Roger Vanderkinter, 85, of Mishicot passed away surrounded by family July 16, 2022.
Born May 28, 1937, to the late Everett and Gertrude (Hansen) Vanderkinter in Manitowoc Wisconsin. Ken married Janice Nimmer in 1961. Ken was a dairy farmer his whole life, he spent 16 years as a Gibson town supervisor, had a white washing business for over 20 years and served on the church council at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Denmark. Besides spending time with his family Ken enjoyed puzzles, word searches, coloring, wood working, polka dancing, camping, fishing, cards, canning tomatoes and watching and feeding birds.
Ken is survived by his wife Janice, his children Peggy Sue (Thomas) Stinson and James Lee Vanderkinter, grandchildren Nikolas Sancomb, Reggie Stinson, Mackenzie Stinson, Felicia Kudick, Gabriel Vanderkinter, Jackson Paul Vanderkinter, Alex Ladwig, and Justin Ladwig. Siblings Harlod Vanderkinter, and Hazel (Dennis) Kubichka along with great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, daughters Karen Marie Vanderkinter-Sandcomb and Genevieve Ladwig, and brother Leroy Vanderkinter.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am-10:45am Thursday July 21, 2022, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (435 Wisconsin Avenue Denmark, WI) with a funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Andy Zoerb officiating.
Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
