Kenneth A. Adamick, age 87 of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 30, 1936, in Illinois to the late Joseph and Eleanor (Chmielecki) Adamick. After high school, Ken attended college before serving in the Army. On September 29, 1962, he married Patricia Klinkefus, she preceded him in death on December 11, 2008.
He worked as a car salesman for many years, most recently at Van Drisse Lincoln Mercury. Ken enjoyed bowling and fishing, traveling-especially to Disney World and spending time with his family. He was a huge sports fan, he especially loved the Bears and the Cubs. His Cubs won their third world series in 2016. Something he said he “waited 80 years to see”. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his children; Tammy (Rich) Lequia, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Adamick, Debbie (Gary) Hockers, Robert (Faye Anne Matuszek) Adamick and Michael (Crystal) Adamick, grandchildren; Amber Lequia, Nicholas (Torre) Lequia, Anthony Hockers, Andrew Hockers, Kaitlyn (Jordan) Kugel, Robert and Jack Adamick, Brina (Austin) Storm and Bryce Adamick. Ken is further survived by his great grandchildren, Claire, Sophia, Sawyer, Harper and Joanna.
Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Pat and brother Joseph Adamick.
Family and friends may gather on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere beginning at 1:00pm until a funeral service at 3:00pm. Burial will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum.
