Kenneth (Ken) Holewinski (66) passed away November 22, 2021 following a recent diagnosis of cancer. Ken grew up in Green Bay and graduated from Preble High School in 1972. During those years Ken performed gymnastics and played tennis. He spent the majority of his employment years as a napkin machine operator at Georgia Pacific (formerly Fort Howard – West Plant). Subsequently he worked at Bay Industries and most recently at Piggly Wiggly (De Pere).
Throughout his life Ken had many close friendships and enjoyed many interests together; bowling, golf, travel, boating, street rod events, working around the yard, baseball, and college and professional football. He was also a downhill skier and volunteered on the ski patrol at Ski Brule. Ken enjoyed old cars, owned a street rod and had many happy memories of times spent at car shows with his friends. He was a passionate Packer fan and traveled to many out of town games, including super bowls. In later years Ken spent a great deal of time grilling out and attending rock concerts. Ken enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He made many wonderful, cherished friendships over the years, unfortunately many of his closest of friends preceded him in death many years ago. Ken will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Felix and Gerry (Haws) Holewinski. He is survived by his children; Cole and Jenna Holewinski and former spouse, Mary Jo Holewinski.
