Ken Brown, written in first tense. "I passed away after a long battle with cancer. The cancer won. I have always tried to lead a good life, respecting others as I have myself. I have had many interests in life, those who knew me knew what they were, so why list them? I am survived by my most loved wife, Lois, who tolerated me for over 60 years. Others surviving my passing are our deeply loved daughter, Rebecca, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren and 2 sister-in laws. Preceding me in death are my grandparents, parents, Cecile - the wonderful aunt who raised me, 4 brothers and 2 sister-in laws. There will be no funeral. Those who would have attended please think of me and say a short prayer." The above was written by my father before he passed. My mother and I have lost the most solid and important person in our lives and loved him dearly. We will miss him every day until we meet him again. Having no showing or funeral was his explicit wish because he didn’t like them. However, at some point we may have a memorial gathering to honor him. Dad we miss you and we love you.
The family of Ken would like to thank to thank the staff of ThedaCare at home Hospice for their loving care given to him during his final months.
