Kelly J. Collins

Kelly J. Collins, age 73, passed away on July 28, 2024. Kelly was born on January 12, 1951, in Green Bay, son of the late James and Lavern (Duquaine) Collins. On November 9, 1974, Kelly married the former Sharon Kozlovsky in Glenmore.

He spent his career as a semi truck driver for more than 50 years and also owned his own farm. Kelly was a NASCAR enthusiast and loved playing sheepshead with a cold Pabst beer. Cutting the grass was a favorite pastime, but above all, Kelly cherished the time he spent with his grandsons. 

Kelly is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; children: Ryan (Michelle) Collins, Robbie (special friend Shay Aylward) Collins, and Ricky (Jenny) Collins; grandsons: Ryan (Jadelyn), Zac, Hunter, Cody, Logan, and Mason; brothers: Bill (LuAnn) Collins, Corry (Vicki) Collins, and Scotty (Rita) Collins; sisters-in-law: Marilyn (Tim) Mleziva and Ann Kozlovsky; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Lavern; brother: Tom Collins; brother-in-law: Bernie Kozlovsky; parents-in-law: Clarence and Arlene Kozlovsky; niece: Jessi Nichols; and great-nephew Tucker Kroll.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark from 2 pm until 7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 7 pm. Kelly will be laid to rest at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
