Keith D. Sjoholm, age 85 of Kaukauna, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay, with his family by his side. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Katha. Keith was born on May 31, 1941, in Ishpeming, Michigan to the late Carl and Ruth (Swahn) Sjoholm. He received his master’s degree in education from Northern Michigan University. On August 10, 1968, Keith married Katha Kolgen in New London, Wisconsin. They shared 56 years of marriage.

During his career, Keith taught at New London Senior High from 1966 to 1969. For the 1969–1970 school year, they moved to Hartland, Wisconsin, and lived at the Fort Knox Apartments on Easy Street. Keith taught and coached wrestling at Pewaukee High School. From 1970 to 1975, he taught in a mobile classroom for CESA 6. In 1976, Keith began a 21-year career at De Pere Senior High, retiring in 1996. What started as business education became computer science courses over time. Together they wintered in Apache Junction, AZ for 29 years and were actively involved in Golden Vista Resort there in Apache Junction. Keith taught many computer classes there as well as organizing the golf league and an offsite cribbage group. He would also record skits at the comedy club. Along with Katha, they were dedicated members of Ascension Lutheran Church in Green Bay.

Keith is survived by his son, Kyle Ryan (Vicki); three grandchildren; Mariah Marie (Nathan) Lamal, Kayley Sue Sjoholm, and Skyler Ryan Sjoholm; two great grandchildren, Emilia and Beau Lamal. He is further survived by his brother, Glenn (Roberta) Sjoholm and their children; Ryan (Amy) and Cole Sjoholm, Keith’s niece and nephew, Cara (Jon) Kamps and their child Karsten, Curt (Julie) Sjoholm and their children, Chloe and Tommy as well as many other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Katha, son, Kraig Nicholas Sjoholm, brother, Lee (Nancy) Sjoholm and a nephew, Shay Sjoholm.

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning at 9:00am at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2911 Libal St. Green Bay, with a celebration of life service to follow at 11:00am. Following the service, he will be placed in a niche next to Katha at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either Golden Vista Resort, 3710 S. Goldfield Rd, Apache Junction, AZ or Ascension Lutheran Church, 2911 Libal St., Green Bay WI 54301.
