Kathleen M. (Baugnet) Schadrie

Kathy (Baugnet) Schadrie OCDS passed away May 5, 2026. She was born December 9, 1930, in Green Bay, WI. and was a lifelong De Pere resident. She graduated from De Pere High School in 1950. Kathy married Joseph Schadrie on May 22, 1954, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic church in De Pere.

Kathy was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society, sang in the St. Francis/St. Mary funeral choir, helped with funeral dinners, member of Care Ministry and is a member of the Secular Order Discalced Carmelites OCDS. She also read to children in the Head Start Program and was in the Nativity Clown Ministry.

Survivors include her children Jeffrey (Mary) Schadrie, Jill (Steve) Hendricks, grandchildren Tessa Schadrie, Christopher Hendricks, Curtis (Carmen) Hendricks, Eric (Kaela) Hendricks. Great grandchildren, Aiden, Lydia, Parker, Ben, Finley, Quinnlyn and Grant. Sister-in-laws and brother -in-laws: Esther Baugnet, Gary Simoens, Mary Kay (Gary) Gordon, Dale (Darlene) Schadrie, Denis Schadrie. Many special nieces and nephews, especially Mary (Baeten) Lee who was like a daughter to her and Sue Ellingson and Mary Jo Ryan.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents John and Julia Baugnet, brother and sisters: John Baugnet, Loraine Forehand, Milton Baugnet, Madeline Baeten, Ramond Baugnet, Donald Baugnet, Kenneth Baugnet, Arnold Baugnet, and David Baugnet.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:45 am on Saturday, May 9, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 220 S. Michigan St. De Pere, WI with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am, Fr. Jason Blahnik officiating.
