Katherine Rathie-Dunn

RATHIE, Katherine Mae, “Kat” (Dunn), age 41, formerly of Whitelaw passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, alongside her fiancé Jamie Cain, 42, also of Whitelaw. 
She graduated from Hiram Johnson High School, Sacramento, California, in 1998. She earned a diploma in Medical Assisting from the Health Sciences program at Rasmussen University in 2014. Kat began working as a cheese packager October 2020 at the Agropur plant in Luxemberg.  
She is survived by her son Christopher Scott Rathie; father Ronald Dunn; mother Teresa Hanson, and siblings Domina Stamas, Scott Dunn (Sara Dunn), Robert Brinsky, and Madisyn Brinsky. Moreover, she leaves behind three nieces and four nephews.  
She loved farm life, growing her own food, and taking care of her many animals, especially her beloved potbellied pig Sugar.
