Julie A. Larsen

Julie A. Larsen, age 61, of Denmark, WI, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 4, 1963 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late Lawrence and Marcella (Dworak) Kafka. On February 25, 1989, she married Mark Larsen at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Denmark, WI.

Julie worked as a prior authorization for insurance for HSHS St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay, WI. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, attending Packer games, spending time with her dogs but what was most special to her was spending time with family.

Julie is survived by her husband, Mark; her children Brooke (Isaac) Babiash and Zak (Paige) Larsen; her siblings Bob Kafka, Vicky (Steve) Abts, Cindy (Frank) VandeHey, Tom Kafka, Jeanne Hansen, Joanne (Clarence) Harris, Jim Kafka and Kristine Warner; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sibling Mary Ellen “Monnie” Umentum and infant siblings Patricia, Charles and Paul Kafka.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark, WI 54208 beginning at 9:00 am until the memorial service at Noon with Rev. Andy Zoerb officiating.
