Judy L. Sloma

Judy Sloma, 74, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, at her family farm in Denmark. Judy was born on December 28, 1951, to Gerald and Glendora (Haugen) Steidtmann of Eau Claire, WI. She married Bernard Sloma on March 9, 1978, and they had three girls, Katherine (Jeremy Dickelman) Sloma, Rebecca (David) Woodbury, and Pamela (Andy Morris) Sloma. Judy was very proud of her three girls and mostly of their successes. She was a strong advocate of education and wanted nothing more for them to go to college, which all three did, and then some.

Judy loved cooking for her family, reading and animals. Her and Bernie farmed and over the years have had every kind of animal imaginable from baby goats to sheep, cattle, chickens, ducks and pigs. Her biggest love however, was for her dogs. She extended this love by supporting several dog and animal rescues throughout her life.

Judy worked in the medical field most of her career, where she met her lifelong friend Carol DeBroux, with whom she spent many hours enjoying the sunset views of the Bay.

Judy is survived by her husband, three daughters, and three adored grandchildren Henry, Josephine and Eleanor. Judy is also survived by both her parents and dear friend Mary Kvitek.

The family would like to thank Unity Hospice for their care, especially Nurse Margaret.
