Judith Ann (Reynolds) Steinberger, age 82, of Brown and Door County passed away November 26th, 2023.
Judith was Born on Sept 24th, 1941, the daughter of the late Ervin & June (Terens) Reynolds. Judy was a graduate of Michicot High School, Class of 1960.
On March 3rd, 1961, Judy married Robert Jacob Steinberger. Judy and Bob owned their Own Business, Steinberger Machine and Tool Inc. for over 30 years. Judy was an asset to the company, and of great support running day to day office operations. In 2006 they retired, sold the business so they could enjoy a new chapter in life – Retirement.
Judy lived life to the fullest. She liked loom knitting, crocheting, painting, coloring, puzzles, gardening, bingo, playing word games, watching YouTube and she also enjoyed listening to music and polkas, and in her younger days dancing. Trying new recipes, watching and feeding the birds, and she was amazed by the technology of photos on a phone how you can text and receive them, she loved receiving and sending photos. One of her best pastimes was talking to friends and loved ones. Judy liked to be an active person, she enjoyed her new apartment with the activities, especially the music.
Going to the Cottage was a must, making great memories with family and friends, which became their retirement home. They made so many good friends everywhere they lived in Manitowoc, Brown and Door Counties.
Judith is survived by her two daughters, Brenda LuMaye, Kewaunee, and Cyndi (Dan) LuMaye of Shawano County, Grandchildren Elliot LuMaye, Elisha-Rhys LuMaye, and Evan LuMaye, Great Grandchildren Ethan and Aubree LuMaye. As well as her extended family Shane (Miranda) McKenna and children Luke and Maia.
Judy is further survived by her siblings Allan (Kathy) Reynolds, Manitowoc, Connie Reynolds (Scott), Arizona, Marge (Jack) Schleis, Manitowoc, and Steve (Kerry) Reynolds. Manitowoc. Brothers and Sister’s in-law, Betty Steinberger, James (Jane) Steinberger, Kenneth (Teri) Steinberger, Leonard (Lucy) Steinberger, Catherine (Paul) Peterson, Nancy (James) Sellars. Plus, a lot of other family and Friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Jacob Steinberger, her son Daniel Robert Steinberger, her parents Ervin and June (Terens) Reynolds, her sister-in-law Jean Steinberger and her mother and father in-law, Raymond and Lucille (Forst) Steinberger.
Judy was a devoted, kind and loving person. She will be Truly and deeply missed by all. We will miss the love and laughter and challenges she gave to us each day. Judy was a unique person, once you met her you would never forget her. Jesus, please take a message to Judy up above, tell her how we miss her, and give her all our love.
Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 10:30 – 11:30 am at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am. Judy will be laid to rest at St.Therese/St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery – Stangelville.
