Joyce M. Wecker, 93, of De Pere, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026 at her home. She was born on October 15, 1932 to the late Walter and Lucille (Van Eyck) Orde. She married Armand “Bud” Wecker on August 6, 1955 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Green Bay. After 46 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on December 22, 2001. When her family was grown, she began a 32-year career with St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI working at the switchboard until retiring in 2002. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, especially her flowers, having family over for dinner and cards, playing the slots at the casino, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as going to lunch with friends. The Catholic Faith was always very important to Joyce; she was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere.
She is survived by her children, Randall Wecker, Julie Wecker and Cynthia Wecker; grandchildren, Aaron Couillard, Andre (Reba) Meyer, Quinn (Sabrina) Meyer and Sawyer Wecker; great-grandchildren, Mason , Madison, Luna and Leon; three sisters-in-laws Catherine Orde, Carole Schottky and Patricia Broekman; several nephews and nieces including Mark, Paul, Christine, Gary, Susan, Vicki, Jenny, Rich, Cari and Cheryl and also former daughter-in-law Noemi
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Janice and brother-in-law Lloyd Steinbrecher; two brothers David Orde and William (Sharon) Orde; one infant brother; two brothers-in-law Raoul Schottky and Joe Broekman; nephew, Brian Orde; cousin, Daniel Van Eyck and several beloved aunts, uncles and cherished friends.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, WI 54115 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Jason Blahnik presiding. Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery in Green Bay, WI.
