Joseph A. Brazee, 90, formerly of Oakville, CT, currently of New Franken, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025. Joseph was born on August 4, 1934, the son of Albert and Anna (Kiyak) Brazee.
Joe served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Jane Reimer November 18, 1961 in Ansonia, CT. Joe worked as a vending technician in Connecticut for over 30 years.
Joe was a car enthusiast and raced dragsters with his brother George. He loved NASCAR and watching drag races on TV. Joe was a very loyal NY Mets fan as well as a fan ofU-Conn Huskie basketball.
Survivors include his dear son Kevin and his wife Cheryl Brazee; Grandchildren: Rachael, Hannah (Jordan) Rowen, Jenna (David) Mercier and Devin (Megan) DeJardin. Great-Grandchildren: Nolan, Aubree and Ruthie Mercier and Miller De Jardin; sister: Elsie (Ron) Johnson; sister-in-law: Gail Brazee. He is also survived many loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife Jane, son Kurt Brazee, brothers George and Robert.
Friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere on Tuesday June 3, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Funeral Service at 3:00 pm Tuesday at Cotter Funeral Home with Rev. Joshua Errer officiating. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere with full Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund for Unity Hospice has been established. Our family would like to give a special thank you to Cassie and Hope and the rest of the staff at Angels Touch as well as Unity for their wonderful care and compassion.
