Jonathon J. Marcussen, 63, Denmark, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011. He was born July 9, 1948 in Sturgeon Bay, and was a 1966 graduate of Sturgeon Bay High School. Jonathon married Lynne Vogel on November 25, 1972 in Sturgeon Bay. He worked in the electrical field his entire life, most recently at Land O’Lakes in Denmark. He is a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Besides the love for his grandchildren, Jonathon loved riding his motorcycle and driving his 1985 Jaguar around town. Jonathon is survived by his wife, Lynne; son, Jon (Tammy) and their son, Brady; and son Ian and his daughter, Taytum; two sisters and a brother: Arliss (Fran) Everson, Mark (Pam) Honold, and Ingrid (Honold); sister-in-law, Mary Jane Marcussen, all of Sturgeon Bay. Also seven brothers and sisters: Beverly (Jim), Dan (Carol), Cathy (Tim), Tony (Kim), Charles (Donna), Liz (Ken), and Lisa; and stepmom, Mary Cooper, all of Louisiana. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Donna (Colin) Sacotte, Dennis (Cathy), Leon (Cathy), and Terry (Kim) Vogel. He is preceded in death by his adoptive parents: Jenny and Frank Marcussen; father, Bevely Cooper; mother, Janice Honold; brothers: Clarence and Alton Marcussen; and David and Leland Cooper. Family and friends may gather at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 3:30 to 7:30 pm. Private burial will be at a later date.
